(RCTC)

About the RCTC Workshop: The Radical Collaboration® Trainer Certification workshop (RCTC) is a highly interactive seven-day course designed to teach individuals how to lead the three-day Radical Collaboration workshop. It is also a helpful follow-up experience for individuals who have taken the three-day Radical Collaboration workshop and want to strengthen their skills.

 

Training Format: The 7-day Trainer Certification program follows the same content as the 3-day Radical Collaboration workshop, but the format differs. Participants are assigned a module or exercise to prepare to present and then given time to prepare. Participants prepare individually or with a partner, depending upon the exercise/module. At the end of the prep time, a participant or pair of participants is selected to present the module to the class. So, participants prep for the exercise and experience it once again as either a class participant or the trainer. Then, after the presentation, participants critique themselves and get feedback from the class and the trainers.

 

Participants will have pre-work before the RCTC, e.g., read the 2nd edition of the Radical Collaboration book, watch some videos, and prepare and video record a lecture on interest-based negotiations. Detailed instructions for this pre-work will be sent at least six weeks before the workshop or as soon as a participant registers if it is less than six weeks.

 

Upon completion of the RCTC workshop, participants will be eligible to purchase Radical Collaboration materials and deliver the three-day Radical Collaboration workshop.

 

Workshop specifics:

 

Cost: The Radical Collaboration Trainer Certification workshop costs $3550 per participant. This fee includes the training materials, instruction, meals and access to all workshop sessions and activities.

 

Availability: Currently, there are still open spaces for the March 11-17, 2024 workshop. We would be delighted to welcome you to participate in this session.

 

Lodging: Participants are responsible for booking their rooms at the Hanford House. To secure the group rate at Hanford House ($175-$195 per night plus tax, depending on room type), contact them at (209) 267-0747 or email concierge@hanfordhouse.com, mentioning the Radical Collaboration Group Rate. A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation and will be charged to the provided credit card. The remaining balance is due at check-in and will be charged to the card on file unless alternative payment arrangements are made. Note that the rate excludes tax. 

 

Meals: A morning snack and beverage will provided each day, along with lunch and dinner. Please provide any dietary restrictions you may have so we can accommodate you during the training.
